Overview

The Gene Juarez marketing department is excited to welcome a new strategic team member to specialize in digital communication and social media. You’ll be the primary lead to organize short and long-term initiatives to boost social media engagement, increase online sales, and bring more leads and clients to our company. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of media including websites, apps, email blasts, social media, and rating sites. We’re looking for a data-driven, creative spirit and communicator who is excited about sharing the benefits of the Gene Juarez premier experience with others.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager contributes to the overall success of the company by clearly and effectively communicating Gene Juarez’s message to generate interest and revenue by focusing on social media strategies, including, but no limited to: 

  • Day-to-day oversight of online channel including operational strategies, cross functional partnerships and necessary trouble shooting. (including but not limited to Gene Juarez Salons and Spa Website, GJ Men Website, Social, Gift Cards, eCom, App) 
  • Supporting the Marketing Director to deliver against regional PR strategy, finding new ways of selling services and products through B2B partnerships, Influencers program and initiatives by developing new concepts and executional ideas;
  • (Establish and maintain) a strategy to increase rating on Yelp, Facebook and Google.
  • Responsible for planning and executing email communications, lead nurturing and retention strategies, and successfully growing the email-marketing channel. Further develop the email-marketing program to increase customer engagement, optimize our email communications, and support brand objectives
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase traffic and conversions
  • Identify key customer insights and opportunities for growing engagement and revenue, especially in the gift card market.
  • Manage paid media campaigns and optimize based on pre-determined KPIs
  • Create and streamline reports and analyze data in order to discover potential opportunities to improve campaigns
  • Develop and implement media planning, buying, and innovation strategies Assist in writing and editing content
  • Keep the pulse on the industry and competitive strategies for customer experience.
  • Attending expositions and events when required;

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position is required to possess:

  • Minimum three to six (3-6) years' of experience in a marketing manager position, required;
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media, mandatory;
  • Experience in a retail environment, required;
  • Enthusiastic data-driven strategic thinker, with a keen attention to detail, required;
  • Seasoned leader and positive team player, required;
  • Strong knowledge of Web Metrics, Revenue, reporting KPIs and SEO expertise, required;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, required;
  • Respect for deadlines and project budgets, paramount;
  • Proven track record of building and executing efficient digital strategies with results, required;
  • A Bachelor's degree is required. A major in Marketing or Public Relations is preferred.
