Overview

The Salon and Training Administrator oversees Brand Training administrative responsibilities to support the success of the new hire program and continuing education events. The ideal individual for this role is ultra-organized, gets excited by numbers and schedules, loves to interact with people, and is flexible to work within a dynamic salon and spa environment. In addition, this position incorporates day-to-day business operations such as daily cash balancing, attendance scheduling, and eTime management with a focus towards process improvements. This individual acts as a liaison between the salon and corporate departments for many reoccurring operational processes.

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
▫ Coordinate and communicate schedules for trainers and new hires
▫ Organize schedules, speakers, attendees, and promotions for training continuing education events
▫ Prepare and disseminate training materials
▫ Facilitates model sign-ups and release forms
▫ Coordinate training event menu selections and delivery logistics
▫ Communicate new hire training information and on-going training department updates to salons
▫ Monitor and post on salon Facebook pages
▫ Manage systems and procedures for salon daily cash balancing
▫ Submit employee paperwork to HR/Payroll on an ongoing basis; submit payroll data to Payroll bi-weekly
▫ Maintains salon time and attendance records and schedules

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
▫ Order business cards and other supplies as needed
▫ Conduct tip researching and monthly purchasing card reconciliation
▫ Track parking expenses and submit to accounting department
▫ Notify salons of employee birthdays and anniversaries

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
▫ Organized and responsible
▫ High attention to detail
▫ Effective teamwork skills
▫ Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects
▫ Intrinsically motivated to set goals and achieve them
▫ Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
▫ Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
