    The Salon Administrator is ultra-organized, gets excited by numbers and schedules, loves to interact with people, and is flexible to work within a dynamic salon and spa environment. In addition, this position incorporates day-to-day business operations such as daily cash balancing, attendance scheduling, and eTime management with a focus towards process improvements. This individual acts as a liaison between the salon and corporate departments for many reoccurring operational processes.


    REPORTS TO: Senior Administration Manager


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None

    Responsibilities

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    ▫ Manage systems and procedures for salon daily cash balancing
    ▫ Maintains salon time and attendance records and schedules
    ▫ Submit employee paperwork to HR/Payroll on an ongoing basis; submit payroll data to Payroll bi-weekly
    ▫ Conduct tip researching and monthly purchasing card reconciliation
    ▫ Organize safety committee meetings, acting as one of the employer members of the committee
    ▫ Conduct quarterly salon visits to maintain legal and safety compliance
    ▫ Monitor and post on salon Facebook pages
    ▫ Provide support as needed for various salon projects and tasks that arise


    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    ▫ Order business cards and other supplies as needed
    ▫ Notify salons of employee birthdays and anniversaries

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
    ▫ Organized and responsible
    ▫ Data entry skills
    ▫ Proven attention to detail
    ▫ Flexibility and a team-player mentality
    ▫ Ability to maintain confidentiality
    ▫ Adept multitasker and ability to complete tasks within strict timelines.
    ▫ Strong learning inclination; able to learn and use computer programs, new services, and GJ luxury verbiage
    ▫ Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    ▫ Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
    ▫ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
    ▫ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
    ▫ Previous experience with administration-related work

     


    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    ▫ Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
    ▫ Work generally takes place in a low-noise office environment, with a moderate amount of face-to-face communication


    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Able to travel to salon locations when needed.
