  • Overview

    Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator assists in ensuring that all policies, procedures, and legal statutes are followed by performing a wide variety of clerical, administrative, and office support duties.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintaining employee information, entering and updating personnel changes in HRIS and other relevant databases
    • Verifies and maintains I-9 documentation
    • Scanning and organizing employee paperwork into cloud database
    • Maintain compliant records of artist/therapist DOL operator licenses
    • Assists with processing of terminations
    • Frequent face-to-face and/or phone interaction with staff, answering questions about company policies and procedures
    • Preparing printed orientation and benefits materials
    • Responds to employment verification requests
    • Occasional payroll-related assistance (direct deposit assistance, W4 forms)
    • Conduct new employee orientations as needed

    The ideal candidate is confident, organized, professional and creative, as well as an adept problem-solver, who possesses the following qualities:

     

    • Previous experience working in HR (6+ months)
    • Organized and attentive
    • Service driven
    • Naturally proactive, responsive and helpful 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective interpersonal and team skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing work environment/responsibilities
    • Interest in the beauty industry
